On Tuesday, May 15th, 2007, in conjunction with its one-year anniversary, the CASEnergy Coalition will be hosting a lunchtime symposium entitled “The Role of Nuclear in Addressing Our Nation’s Energy Challenges.”
The Honorable James Clyburn (D-SC) Majority Whip of the U.S. House of Representatives will deliver the keynote address.
Both CASEnergy Co-Chairs will be attending, with opening remarks delivered by Former NJ Governor and EPA Administrator Christine Todd Whitman, and Dr. Patrick Moore, co-Founder of Greenpeace, serving as a guest speaker.
The panel discussion will be led by author and commentator Ben Wattenberg, a Senior Fellow at the American Enterprise Institute and host of “Think Tank with Ben Wattenberg” on PBS.

The CASEnergy symposium will provide a venue for speakers and invited guests from the private sector, academia, and non-governmental organizations to explore the role of nuclear power today and in the future.
