The New England Energy Alliance
The New England Energy Alliance is a coalition of energy providers, business and trade organizations, and others concerned about future energy supplies. The Alliance advocates for action to ensure the availability, reliability, and affordability of future energy supplies, which are vital to sustain the region’s economic growth and prosperity. “Nuclear power is particularly important to New England,” says Carl Gustin, President of the Alliance. “The region’s five facilities are the backbone of the electricity grid, providing reliable, round-the-clock and emission-free generation using a dependable fuel source. More than one-quarter of the region’s electricity is generated from nuclear facilities.”
