Nuclear Energy is America's Clean and Safe Energy Solution
Clean and Safe Energy Coalition (CASEnergy Coalition) is a national grassroots organization that supports the increased use of nuclear energy to ensure an affordable, environmentally clean, reliable and safe supply of electricity. Funded by the industry, the coalition was formed in 2006 to inform the public dialogue and educate Americans on the many benefits of nuclear energy. The coalition was co-founded by Dr. Patrick Moore, a co-founder and former leader of Greenpeace, and Christine Todd Whitman, former administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency under the Bush administration and former governor of New Jersey. Dr. Moore retired from CASEnergy Coalition in 2013.
The coalition engages stakeholders from across America to participate in a meaningful dialogue about our energy future. With more than 3,200+ members, CASEnergy Coalition comprises a broad-based, diverse cross-section of individuals and organizations from academia, politics, labor, business, industry and the environmental community – all in support of nuclear power. Media events, grassroots advocacy and issues education further ensure that CASEnergy Coalition is able to provide everyone from consumers to policymakers with the necessary tools to make an informed decision about nuclear energy.
We all have a shared stake in America’s energy future and that is why CASEnergy Coalition actively promotes nuclear energy as an affordable, clean, reliable and safe source of power.
