The Clean and Safe Energy Coalition (CASEnergy Coalition) is a national grassroots organization that supports the increased use of nuclear energy to ensure an affordable, environmentally clean, reliable and safe supply of electricity. The Coalition believes that nuclear energy is a vital part of America’s energy portfolio, and we work with our members and partners to educate the public about nuclear energy’s many benefits.

Our mission is to advance the national dialogue about our energy options, focusing on the value nuclear energy provides to America’s economy and the environment. We engage stakeholders across America in meaningful dialogue about our energy future. Through media events, grassroots advocacy and issues education, we work to ensure everyone – from consumers to policymakers – has the tools to make informed decisions about nuclear energy.

Funded by the industry, the Coalition was formed in 2006. Since then, it has grown to include more than 4,000 members united in their support for nuclear energy – a broad-based, diverse cross-section of individuals and organizations from academia, politics, labor, business, industry and the environmental community. The Coalition is led by the former governor of New Jersey and former EPA Administrator Christine Todd Whitman who represents the country’s broad-based support for nuclear energy.

We all have a shared stake in America’s energy future. Please consider joining the CASEnergy Coalition to voice your support for nuclear energy as an affordable, clean, reliable and safe source of power.
